So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. – Luke 11:9, 10
We often come across this verse in our lives. But have we ever paused to reflect on it? What should we ask for? Whom should we seek? And where should we knock? Let us take a moment to look into these two verses.
Sometimes, you may have longed to ask God for something, yet found yourself holding back. Perhaps guilt, feelings of unworthiness, or doubt kept you silent. Yet today, let this be a gentle reminder: bring those hidden desires, those unspoken prayers, before God. You never know what blessings may be waiting on the other side of your genuine prayer.
Seek God His wisdom, His guidance, and His will. As you seek him, He will walk with you and teach you the steps you need to take.
Knock on the doors you once believed were closed doors to childhood dreams, long-forgotten hopes, or prayers whispered in your lowest moments. Bring them back to life, even the ones that felt broken.
These words are not just promises; they carry power. If you put them into practice, they will give you renewed hope and confidence, and most importantly, draw you closer into a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
